Facebook Widget Slows Site Load Speed

    Hello,

    I am having trouble with the facebook app. When I have it on my site, it slows the load speed of the webpage drastically, especially when I enable the option to show the facebook feed.

    Is there a way to speed up the speed of the widget load?

    I’m afraid that’s out of our hands. Facebook’s Like Box is hosted on Facebook.com, and we don’t control the way it’s built, or how fast Facebook’s resources load on your end.

    If Facebook is significantly slower than other resources on your computer, it might be worth investigating why. Do you use an anti-virus or browser extension like an ad-blocker that may restrict access to Facebook resources? is Facebook itself slow on your computer? Do you experience similar issues when accessing your site from a different network, or from your phone on your mobile network? These questions may help you understand what’s causing the performance issues on your computer.
