I would like to add the SendPress newsletter signup form to our client's Facebook page. I saw that this was available in a post earlier this year. Can you please provide directions on how to do this, thanks!

I believe it can be done using the iframe. Unfortunately, I'm not very adept at Facebook. But if you can use an iframe, then I can walk you through the instructions for how to find the iframe code within send press.

Let's give it a try. I believe I can post custom html. Please post step by step and I'll let you know how it works here, then others can see this as well.

I'll tell you what, if you are able to write up complete instructions for how to make this work with Facebook, I will happily send you a discount for a free upgrade to pro.

See if these instructions for getting the proper HTML work for you.

    1. If you have not done so already, create a new list that is "not linked".

    2. Click on the subscribers tab and next to that list you created will be a "form" icon.

    3. At the bottom of the form page for that list will be an Iframe area with the Iframe code. That should be what you need for Facebook.

Once you have the code, I'm not sure exactly what to do with it on Facebook, although it does look like there are numerous Iframe applications. If you can write of the instructions, my offer stands. You can reach me outside the forum at doug at sendpress dot com. I would love to be able to add those instructions to our knowledge base.

I tried this with 3 different iFrame apps and here's what happens:

    - You have an option to use the url of an actual website page, but it won't show in Firefox or Chrome unless you have a secure url (i.e. https://). I don't, so not an option currently.

    - You can also use the html code. When I do this with the sendpress code the HTML/Remote post displays the form, but the form doesn't work properly (i.e. click "submit" and nothing happens, doesn't add subscriber, no redirect). When I use the form's iFrame HTML the form does not show at all.

So, no solution for this yet. If you have any other ideas or if someone has figured this out, please post instructions or make a tutorial!

Or, Sendpress, please make a Facebook app to make it easy!
