facebook shares count includes likes too? why? just want share count total!

why have you configured this plugin to count other activity’s from facebook in the count as well as the share count? it really really really does not make any sense at all!
I mean this is a sharing plugin right? So why would we want to see like counts? added to the total? i want to just see the accurate amount of times a post has been shared, i don’t give a damn about the number of likes added to the total this is false information, i really dont mean to sound rude with you as i think the plugin is amazing but lack of attention to detail like this is so offputting, if you install plugins such as crafty share plugin it does exactly what it says on the tin and only pulls in actual share counts, so does mashshare too.
This seriously lets your plugin down, again i ask why would we want to see anything other than the ACTUAL SHARE COUNT? ?????
