Seems I fixed it by changing php setting to FastCGI and clearing cache.
I’ll keep an eye on it.
Not able to reproduce this scenario at my test environment. That might have caused by cache.
Hello,
The counting is unstable. Sometimes shows up correct count, sometimes shows no count at all.
Could you please take a look?
You would like to try keeping only this plugin active just to check if this makes any difference. Some other plugin might be conflicting. If this doesn’t help, drop an email at support[at]heateor[dot]com regarding the same.
What i found is that the Facebook App is reaching it’s limits too quickly (within 90 minutes gr:get:URL 6812). This is why the like counts stop showing up.
Is there a way to prevent this? Is it logical that the limit is reached so fast?
Can it be increased somehow?
Thank you for your support!

How many posts are there at your website that have social share icons integrated and how much traffic you get per webpage?
Hello,
The site has about 30-40k views per day and the social share buttons are set to display on every post (more than 50k posts).
I think the problem is solved now. With your advice i moved the social share count to 1hr (from 10 mins).
The FB APP still rises rapidly but not at its limits.
I’ll keep an eye on it for now.
Thank you for your support and this great plugin!
Great. It’s evident that enormous traffic at your website is causing the plugin to send frequent requests to Facebook API to fetch shares for your webpages. That’s why Facebook app is reaching it’s limit so soon.
