    It’s showing 9, so try to find the cause on your end that is blocking Facebook’s counts API and probably other things. Usually it’s a browser add-on such as an ad-blocker, social-blocker, or Firefox’s Private Browsing mode.

    well facebook count is OK for me now too
    but it shows blank for new posts even when browsing using extension-free web browser

    you can check it out in this post: https://blog.sli.do/just-testing/
    (I created it and set publish date to 2012)
    when I check some older posts without shares, the facebook count shows ‘0’, it never shows blank space

    do you have any ideas, what could be causing this? should it be showing ‘0’?

    Evidently Facebook’s counts API no longer returns a value for pages that haven’t yet been shared to (or otherwise scraped by) Facebook. An AddToAny core update this week will default to zero in such cases.
