[Resolved] Facebook posts with attached links show icons when no pictures in post

    Plugin takes featured image from the post. if there is no featured image it will take the first image from the post body. if your post body has no images it will take the specified default image. if default image is not specified it will take first image from the page.

    Please set featured image to clearly define what image you would like to show or specify Plugin Settings->Other Settings->”Open Graph” Tags->Default Image URL for og:image tag for the default image.

    Understood that.

    Just wondering, why there are no option not to post any image at all, if the post has no images? Maybe this one should be the last option, instead of taking the first iamge from the page?

    if you don’t want an image in the post, why you are using post type “Attach”?

    Choose post type “Text” and you will get what you need.

    I’m using the default “Post” post type with “Standard” format for my posts.

    The default post type comes with the picture. if you don’t need a picture change it to the “Text Post”
