Usually, I would say I love WordPress. I think it’s great.
But I’m really frustrated right now with how incredibly awkward some things are, and just not user friendly.
So, I’m using the Twenty Thirteen theme with Jetpack, and whenever I publish a post and it gets automatically shared on my Facebook page, all I get is the transparent image for the thumbnail, even though I set up an image in a widget just for this purpose. So, I installed the Facebook Thumb Fixer plugin. Still no image on Facebook. So, I put an image on my post. Still no image on Facebook. So I set a Featured Image. Still no image on Facebook, AND on the post as well as the blog roll it shows the featured image plus the image in the content, which in this case were the same, and there is no way to control that. I’m sorry, but I think this is really dumb. And, it’s almost 2 in the morning and I’m grumpy from having to deal with how incredibly difficult such a seemingly easy issue has turned out to be.
Not sure what else to say.
Then I get to the freaking forum, here, and there is no way to search it for this issue. WTF? What the hell is going on?
