[resolved] Facebook "My App ID / API Key" fails when over 9 chars long (7 posts)

    Unable to change the "My App ID / API Key" when the value is greater than 9 characters in length.

    It always reverts back to 2147483647. I'm trying to enter 261974510598745 as that is the app id provided by Facebook.

    I can enter 261974510, but when I add anything past that such as 2619745105 it changes the value to 2147483647.

    I'm using version 1.1.1.

    Hey victorboba,

    Would you be able to email me with an admin login so I could take a look at this? It seems to be working fine for me.

    My email is me@codebycarter.com

    Thanks

    I'm getting the same thing. I already had facebook autoconnect set up on my site which was working fine until I added the wpbb, now it gives this error message when clicking the join with facebook button on my register page.

    I also entered my key on the bb settings page and it reverts to the same # as Victor posted above.

    I'm wondering if it's a conflict between the existing facebook autoconnect???

    Also, I just deactivated the wpbb plugin and now my facebook autoconnect is working as usual.

    Hey athangeor,

    Please try opening wp-content/plugins/wp-bulletin-board/php/admin/wpbb-admin-settings.php and around line 71 you'll see:

    "$facebook_app_id = absint($_POST['wpbbfacebookappid']);"

    Please replace it with:

    if (ctype_digit($_POST['wpbbfacebookappid']))
    {
    	$facebook_app_id = $_POST['wpbbfacebookappid'];
    }
    else
    {
    	$facebook_app_id = __('Enter your App ID / API Key', 'wp-bb');
    }

    Please let me know if it works, will update the plugin :)

    Thanks
