# Facebook Link Preview

 * Hi,
 * I am having an issue with the Facebook Link Preview on WordPress posts for this
   website. The Facebook description is set to display “Dr. Hoven believes that 
   middle school challenge courses create equity issues and has decided to eliminate
   them.” When the post is shared on Facebook the first sentence of the post is 
   displayed rather than the preferred description above. Please let me know how
   to resolve this problem.

 * Thanks for reaching out here. We looked at the relevant page on your website 
   and can confirm that it has a duplicate set of social open graph meta and as 
   such, you’re not getting the expected results.
 * To get consistent results, you’ll need to remove the relevant duplicate social
   open graph meta that are appearing on your website. Those could come from either
   a 3rd party plugin or from the currently active theme. So, you might want to 
   either check with the theme support for further assistance on this or perform
   the [conflict check](https://yoast.com/help/how-to-check-for-plugin-conflicts/)
   on your own.

 * Thanks for your help. The “Open Graph Meta Tags” option in the Avada theme advanced
   features options has to be turned off for it to work. Appreciate it.

 * Thanks for letting us know! We tested the page you’ve mentioned on [Facebook’s Sharing Debugger Tool](https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/)
   and we can also confirm that it seems to be picking up the correct `og:description`
   tag as expected now.
