Embedding a Facebook iframe in admin panel just to show how awesome you are is very ridiculious and absolutely not necessary. On the other hand it is a security and privacy fault, which is inacceptable!

I dropped the plugin immediately and I could only advice this consequence to any other admin.

I’m curious. Would you be able to go into the plug-in files and delete the FB iFrame code? I can’t imagine that it is detrimental to the code’s working mojo. So deleting straight out should NOT be an issue. Right? Just a thought. Especially if you are worried about security and privacy issues.

@kimberly, yes you will be able to go to the code and delete the part for FB IFrame..

@sebastian, – iframe does not carry any wordpress internal token or anything to facebook itself. There are no data passed back to Facebook. It is placed there .. NOT to show how “awesome” i am. It is merely an option to let more people know about it.

    Thanks for your responses.
