    Hi there,
I have an online shop created with woocommerce and we are using the plugin “facebook for woocommerce” I have synchronizated the products and all of them show up in the “catalogue” of business manager in Facebook, but they don’t ge updated on the profesional Facebook page (@nycecosmeticsspain) ¿Do you know why this could be happening? It supposed to be updating it on both places, right?

I have read this article here: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/facebook-for-woocommerce/#faq-security
Is this something to do with the problem I’m describing above? If so.. when do you think is going to be fixed.
    Many tanks in advance!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hey @mechita!

Thanks so much for providing that information, it’s a great help. Sometimes we’ve seen that the shop page will not show the products, even when synced, when there are more catalogs created in Catalog Manager.

If we could rule this out first, that would be great! To do that, could you please login to your Facebook Product Catalog manager, and let me know how many Catalogs are listed? You can send over a screenshot if that makes it easier too! What we’re hoping to see here is one catalog, and that the number of products is not 0.

Depending on what that shows us, we can then take the next steps to dig in further or resolve any issue that we see. Could you let me know when you have a moment to run through this for me and pass on the extra information? 🙂

    Cheers!

    Simon.

    Hi Simon,
There are two catalogs listed.. one of them with 0 products.
How do I send the screenshot? I can’t find the option to do so..

    Many thanks for your response.

    Hey @mechita,

Thanks for testing that for me! You can use an online image sharing service if you like, such as Pasteboard.co or imgur.com. If you’d prefer to send these privately, then that’s also okay! In which case, please could you raise a support request via our support form?

Without seeing the screenshots, I’m going to assume that on of the catalogs may be called “<storename> – WooCommerce” and the other is “Products for <storename“. it should also be that the WooCommerce named catalog is the one with the products, the “Products for” catalog is empty.

Could you please send over the screenshots to confirm, or let me know if the above assumption is correct? I’d then be happy to offer the next steps to get this sorted for you!

    Cheers,

    Simon.

    Me too have problems:
    Facebook Page URL https://www.facebook.com/design.si.it/
WordPress and WooCommerce version number WordPress 5.4.1 WooCommerce version: | | 4.1.0
Facebook Plugin version number Version 1.11.2
How many products you have about 15.000
Types of products (i.e. anything besides simple/variable products won’t work) simple and wpml translated products
Do you have Duplicate SKUs in your system? only for wpml multilanguage translation
What kind of customization plugins you’re using (if any)? none
On the first days of April we where able to upload products on facebook throughout the plugin on the facebook page of the physical shop held by my sister https://scontent.fcia1-1.fna.fbcdn.net/v/t1.15752-9/91910816_539291000106273_3068191805808836608_n.jpg?_nc_cat=106&_nc_sid=b96e70&_nc_ohc=gzabi0yV_gsAX8iTVAR&_nc_ht=scontent.fcia1-1.fna&oh=3a40b440890e165b03b0fc769f274269&oe=5EEA29D5 . From the end of April I have unsuccessfully tried to upload products to my facebook page design.si.it for the onlinestore, but just 3 products have been uploaded

Mechita did you set up a Pixel in Facebook? And if you did, did you install the “Facebook for Woocommerce” that your computer automatically downloaded when you created the Pixel on Facebook for your store or did you automatically download Facebook for Woocommerce when you installed Woocommerce?

I have a recent install that wasn’t syncing properly. When I installed Woocommerce through the set up walk through it automatically installed Facebook for Woocommerce, but there seemed to be some kind of disconnect (maybe with the Facebook ID?) that prevented proper syncing so I uninstalled it and installed the actual download that I got from Facebook when I recreated my pixel.

    Hi Simon @skyverge,
    Here is the screenshot:

    Thnanks!

    Hi @mechita!

Thanks for sharing the screenshot. From what I can see, there are two catalogs for NYCE Cosmetics Spain. The second one on the list has the naming structure I would expect from a catalog created by the plugin, and we can see products have been synced! The second catalog, which is the fourth one in the list, has zero products and has the naming structure I’d expect when the shop was setup manually outside of the plugin.

So this is great, this confirms what we assumed the issue would be in the last few replies! So we can go ahead and get this sorted out for you.

To start with we need to delete the empty catalog, which will also remove the link to the shop page as well:

    1. Open up the products catalog once again, and select the empty catalog
    2. Click the Settings option in the left-hand sidebar
    3. At the bottom of the screen, click the Delete button to remove the catalog and shop page link.

With that done, the shop page will be empty, and the link removed. We can then connect the existing catalog of the plugin to the shop page instead. The easiest way to do that is to run through the setup wizard again which will connect up the shop page and sync products.

    1. In your WordPress admin head to WooCommerce > Settings > Integration > Facebook for WooCommerce.
    2. Click “Manage connection”. See screenshot here: https://cloud.skyver.ge/o0uDe1np
    3. Head to “Advanced Options” on the popup window.
    4. Click the “Remove” button and confirm. See screenshot here: https://cloud.skyver.ge/4gummdo4
    5. You will be taken to a fresh Welcome screen to choose a Facebook page.
    6. Set up the connection as described in our documentation.
    7. Ensure you leave the WooCommerce > Settings > Integration > Facebook for WooCommerce page open while products sync.

Would you please let me know if the issues persist once you’ve had a chance to follow the above steps?

    Cheers!

    Simon.
