I’ve just installed your plugin and am testing it on my dev and live sites.

However, the post is not being published to Facebook.

I use Beaver Builder and design my own pages, so I don’t use a ‘standard’ theme.

The blog post is at https://www.freedomwatersports.com/looking-after-you/

If you could check this out i would be very grateful.

    Thanks,

    Craig

    Hi @craigcpcb,

The FTS feed appears to be working fine. There are errors on your page, but none coming from the FTS plugin. They appear to be coming from ‘fontawesome’ and ‘Ultimate-Icons’.

As for the two posts that are not displaying, this has to do with recent Facebook privacy policy restrictions. FB will not allow certain posts to come through their API if there are any privacy settings attached to them (typically from the original post’s user), although sometimes they will restrict certain content.
If this was posted directly from the FB Business Page owner, double check the privacy settings (mobile uploads etc). In particular, if you have added your website domain to Facebook Business Suite, be sure that third party developers are set to allowed.

The website is verified through Facebook Business Manager but I am not not sure how to allow your app to be allowed to post…can you help?

    Hi @craigcpcb,

Sorry Craig, I may have spoke too soon on that aspect. If the FB Business Manager Suite was not set to allow third party developers, then none of the posts would show. So that won’t be the issue here.

For now, the two posts that are not displaying, would be b/c either a privacy setting from the root/original user/poster, or the content has run afoul of the always changing FB content restrictions algorithm.

We do see this more and more (unfortunately) as FB has increasingly been restrictive on what they will allow through their API, although it is almost always the aforementioned privacy setting from a specific user.

Thanks for your prompt responses but I think I’ll give up for now.
