The Essential addons facebook feed widget is one of it’s kind. I did not find any other free widget that let’s you show you seperate feeds and not the whole ugly facebook embed page. Great job!
But when I installed it and tried it out on my published website, it worked. After a day or two it didn’t work anymore. I updated the expiration of the acces token (although it was no yet expired) and that did not help. Any suggestions?

    Hi @monkeydluffy ,

First of all, Thanks for your appreciation for the EA Facebook Feed widget.
As you mentioned that, You updated the expiration, Did you extend your Access Token aswell?
Please follow this doc for extend your Facebook Access Token: https://essential-addons.com/elementor/docs/extend-access-token-facebook/

If you successfully generate Facebook Access Token and after that extend your token as per as doc, It should not expire or disappear after a day or two as you mentioned.

Let me know how it goes.
    Thanks!

Hi, thank you for your reply. It is solved!
Those are the steps I did but the thing is. I did not know it generates a NEW token that I had to copy and paste in the widget. I thought the token would just update automatically.. My bad. So you get a new “long-lived” token that you have to copy to the EA widget.
    Thanks!!

    Awesome!
And yes, That “long-lived” access token will prevent the expiration too early.
Glad to know that your issue has been resolved.

    Have a good day!
