That is how the plugin is. The straightforward like offered by facebook couldn't be emulated without including the facebook js. This would've defeated the plugin's purpose.
Also, facebook kept saying that share and like are going to be the same, soon. So, we just used share. Facebook has made some more changes and luckily, these are in favour of rtsocial. So, what rtsocial has is a share button, not like, currently. We, now, thanks to Facebook's changes, can have separate like and share buttonss.
However, this update requires a lot of changes to the code. Being Christmas time, we are a little short of resources and so, for a while, we're only providing bug fix support. There are other major changes in the pipeline for rtSocial, as you can see here:
So, kindly support this plugin, by having a little patience, this time. It'll be totally worth it.
