# Facebook App Issues

 * I’m having trouble setting up Facebook social login. The Facebook button appears
   and works in opening the popup login window, but when I enter my Facebook login
   details the request fails.
 * Here’s the error I get after entering my Facebook login info into the popup window:
 * *Facebook SDK returned an error: Cross-site request forgery validation failed.
   Required param “state” missing from persistent data.*
 * Any ideas? All I could find online were solutions that required editing code.
   I’m trying to avoid that if possible.

   url of your website, would be able to help you out.

   You can try logging in with Facebook there. Google login works fine. Thank you!

 * I’m sorry, I appreciate your responses. I had to disable the plugin to keep my
   project moving forward. I will reach out again if I activate the plugin and am
   still having issues.
