Facebook and Google stopped working after latest WP upgrade

    I just upgraded WP to the latest WP (3.8.2) and both Facebook and Google+ icons stopped working (the loading animation is looped and never ends). It worked well yesterday and I haven’t changed anything else apart from the upgrade, so I guess that’s where the problem arose. I have tried reactivating the plugin, still the same result. I’ve tried several browsers and different computers, same problem. Any idea what could be wrong?
