# face problem in upgrading wordpress

 * i am trying to upgrade my blog at [http://www.deltadownloads.net](http://www.deltadownloads.net)
   to the wordpress 2.8.4 i do everything in the upgrade manual and when i come 
   to upgrade step: in my case [http://www.deltadownloads.net/wp-admin/upgrade.php](http://www.deltadownloads.net/wp-admin/upgrade.php)
   following message is shown to me:
 * Fatal error: Call to undefined function: require_wp_db() in /homepages/46/d220803884/
   htdocs/deltadownloads/wp-settings.php on line 250
 * please if anybody can help me in resolving this problem?

 * I’d first consider deleting the WordPress files, then reupload, per Steps 7 and
   8 in [Upgrading_WordPress_Extended](http://codex.wordpress.org/Upgrading_WordPress_Extended).

 * I wonder if you should download a new copy of WordPress from the Download tab
   at the top of this page. Use [http://www.7-zip.org/](http://www.7-zip.org/) to
   extract the contents of the zip file, then delete and reupload the WordPress 
   files.
