[Resolved] F debugger error 'og:image:url' could not be parsed as type 'url'

  • Hi guys,
    Just installed this plugin on http://www.aidboard.com
    But if I take a job page and parse it with the FB debugger I get:

    Object at URL 'http://www.aidboard.com/jobs/view/lesotho-hiv-primary-healthcare-project-manager-paray-thaba-tseka' of type 'article' is invalid because the given value '' for property 'og:image:url' could not be parsed as type 'url'.

    In fact the property is empty in the source code:

    <!-- NextGEN Facebook OG Meta BEGIN -->
    <link rel="author" href="http://www.aidboard.com/author/admin/" />
    <meta name="description" content="Company Name Solidarmed (view profile) Location Paray, Thaba Tseka, Lesotho: , Lesotho Date Posted February 27, 2013 Category Health Job Type Full Time Duration 3 years Closing date for applications 03/29/2013 Description..." />
    <meta property="article:author" content="http://www.aidboard.com/author/admin/" />
    <meta property="article:modified_time" content="2012-12-12T10:09:16+00:00" />
    <meta property="article:published_time" content="2010-07-22T15:27:40+00:00" />
    <meta property="og:description" content="Company Name Solidarmed (view profile) Location Paray, Thaba Tseka, Lesotho: , Lesotho Date Posted February 27, 2013 Category Health Job Type Full Time Duration 3 years Closing date for applications 03/29/2013 Description..." />
    <!-- og:image:1 --><meta property="og:image" content="" />
    <meta property="og:site_name" content="Aidboard &ndash; jobs and careers in International Development, UN, UNDP, NGOs and nonprofit" />
    <meta property="og:title" content="Lesotho : HIV / primary healthcare project manager Paray, Thaba Tseka" />
    <meta property="og:type" content="article" />
    <meta property="og:url" content="http://www.aidboard.com/jobs/view/lesotho-hiv-primary-healthcare-project-manager-paray-thaba-tseka" />
    <!-- NextGEN Facebook OG Meta END -->

    Any idea why the image in the page is not picked up?

    Thanks

    If the post or page uses a “featured image”, then it should be included.

    If there’s no featured image, but there is one (or more) in the content, then those should be used *provided* they are large enough. See the “Why does NextGEN Facebook OG ignore the <img/> HTML tags in my content?” section in the FAQ for more info.

    If none of this helps, then turn on NGFB’s debug mode (see http://wordpress.org/support/topic/please-read-before-posting-2?replies=1) and I’ll have a look.

    Thanks,

    js.

    No reply in over a week, so I’m going to close this thread and assume you’ve fixed your problem.

    Thanks,
