Extremely slow website, please help

Hello everyone,

I developed a website currently located here: http://pyramisaegypt.com/pyramisawebsite/index.php

It turns out that the website is extremely slow especially when running speed tests from Europe. US is a bit better, but the hosting is with ixwebhosting.com which servers are located in USA. For reference: http://tools.pingdom.com/fpt/#!/p508X/http://pyramisaegypt.com/pyramisawebsite/index.php

I am using wpnation theme bought from themeforest.
The hosting account is Windows based.

What I’ve done so far is:

– Deleted unused plugins, currently there are 25 active,
– Optimized the front page slides for web using Photoshop so in my opinion they are decent size now.
– Optimized the database. It used to be around 14MB now it is around 2.7MB (Wp-optimize plugin)
– Installed W3 Total Cache Plugin with basic configuration. I was not able to do the code minification through that plugin. Got an error saying that my code could not be minified.

All suggestions are welcomed.
