# Extremely Slow Picture Loading

 * Hello, Please give some advice
 * I’m currently using the latest version of NextGen Plugin 2.1.31
    After updating
   WordPress to 4.4.2 a problem has been revealed.
 * When loading a page with a gallery everything is fine, but after pressing on 
   one image to increase it you’ll have to wait from 7 to 20 seconds until it appears
   in full size. Nothing helps. Full size is 800X600.
 * The strange thing is that before the WordPress upgrade the time of the image 
   load was less then a second. Any ideas?

   current version of WordPress is 4.5 that should still not be relevant to slow
   loading times. Could you share a link to a display exhibiting this behavior so
   we can see it first-hand?

 * Already solved it. Activated a plugin Huge IT lightbox, with it, the loading 
   process speeds up drastically. Unfortunately, now I have 2 lightbox on each photo.

   Huge IT plugins tend to cause conflicts with NextGEN Gallery if this is working
   for you then you might consider just turning off the NextGEN Gallery Lightbox
   Effect under Gallery > Other Options.

 * Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, using the Guge It Plugin causes the 
   lack of photo description and showing in a small resolution. For options, the
   plugin proposes upgrading to PRO which isn’t free. I’d rather use the double 
   lightbox effect, than paying those burglars any money. Cheep trick.
