# Extremely simple theme

 * So many themes, and the filters didn’t help.
 * I’ve been running a few WordPress blogs, but now I would like to embed one in
   an iframe inside a genealogy website. So I would like an extremely theme that
   is pretty much text only with no sidebar.
 * I would create a blog outside of the genealogy site, and then invoke it within
   the iframe. I would write the articles in the regular blog subdomain, but visitors
   would read it within the genealogy site.
 * Currently, the genealogy site has a “news” block that would be replaced by the
   iframe. See the left-hand column of

 * Have you tried [https://wordpress.org/themes/blank-canvas/](https://wordpress.org/themes/blank-canvas/)?
   It’s a child theme, so it nees it’s parent (Seedlet) as well, but it is a very
   minimalistic theme. And it’s made by Automattic, so the chances that it gets 
   maintained are high.
 * Also [https://wordpress.org/themes/twentytwentyone/](https://wordpress.org/themes/twentytwentyone/)
   has no sidebar and it’s the theme of the year.
