Extremely Flexible Theme

Any recommendations for an extremely flexible responsive theme? I want to find a theme that will allow me a lot of options for changing layouts, carousels, menus, background colors, fonts, etc. I am happy to pay for it, but it would save me a great deal of time to master the theme options for one that will allow me to do a great deal of customization without having to make child themes. Thanks!
