Hi,
Only way to do this is by using the widget at homepage and shortcode on your main events page. But widget has event content section underneath the event details section, you may not like that.

Unfortunately, I only have widgets in the footer and it won’t work for me. I want the events to be seen in the beginning. I have another question if I’m not breaking any rules. When I click on the event category link it takes me to a blank page.

Hi,
When I click on the event category link it takes me to a blank page.
The category page is not generated by VSEL, events are not orderend by event date. So I don’t recommend to make the categories linkable.
The blank page can be caused by your theme, or try to resave the permalink via Settings > Permalinks.

Unfortunately I won’t need it, I just won’t make full use of the plugin, I’ll just use a short snippet on the homepage and even if it opens it will be the same.

Hi @tangra
About the summary, I will add an (shortcode) attribute in next version so you can activate the summary per event list. This attribute will override the setting from the settingspage.

It will be great and very useful to choose a short or full text. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Hi again,
I have added it in current version. Use attribute summary="true"
to display the summary per event list.

Great, I played for a few minutes and it worked. Thank you very much for what you did. When I finish translating the plugin into my language, I will send it to you.
