Extracting HTML from WP backup

I recently switched to a BP compatible theme, but I have lost all of the custom HTML I put in my sidebars under the old theme (when i switched back to the old theme to get the code, the sidebars were all empty). Is there any way to extract this html from my backup without actually loading the DB back in (which I think would really screw up the BP instal) Thanks in advance!!! http://kitchencavalry.com (currently in maintenance mode)
