On the page in question, there are “returns” or “junk artifacts” or something that can not be fixed with my child theme’s CSS. There is much space between each item in the form.

Don’t know if this matters, but I am using a Bootstrap3 theme.

    Your help is greatly appreciated.

    Hi Trishah,

Glad to help. It looks the WP RTE/Visual editor was used when the USP shortcode was added to your submissions page. When that happens, unintended/unseen artifacts can get introduced, which is what looks like is happening in this case.

To resolve, visit the page in question, switch to the plain text editor, and take a look at the USP shortcode. Is it wrapped with code tags? If so, remove them and the problem will be solved.

Thank you for the replay. I disabled all the plugins and it made no difference. After some searching I looked again at the shortcode I was using are realized it had the <pre></pre> tags around it:

    <pre>[usp_member]
    [user-submitted-posts]
    [/usp_member]

    [usp_visitor]
    [usp-login-form]
    [/usp_visitor]</pre>

I removed them and now it works as expected.
