    Hi there! Great plugin.

We have a small issue regarding the Twitter share button. When we share, a space is inserted before the title. I know it seems small but it makes our shares look very strange. Thoughts? I couldn’t find anything out of the ordinary in the PHP.

On that note, is it possible to change the content that the plugin pulls or is it just the title?

    Thanks so much!
    Glen

    Hi Glen,

Could we get your site url so that we may take a look at the issue you’re experiencing. I took a look at another implementation and saw no issue such as the one you’re experiencing. It may be possible that there is some site specific css that is interfering.

    Absolutely! It’s dancemusicnw.com

    Thanks!

    Thanks Glen,

Just to clarify the issue are you referring to the padding above the “Share a link with your followers” in the twitter popup when you click on the twitter share button?

No the padding is fine. When you click share and it opens Twitter, there’s a space before the title.

    Hi Glen,

I’m sorry, I am not seeing this issue when viewing your site. If you like you can link me a screenshot so that I may see what you’re seeing.

    Hi Glen,
I had another pair of eyes look at it and they pointed out a space in font of the first word in the text area. We are aware of this space and have added it to our list of improvements. We did try sharing your site to twitter and the text is trimmed, so it won’t show on twitter.

So just to confirm, the space highlighted in this screenshot is something you’re working on? It appears on every share, but only when trying to share on Twitter.

Yes, that space will show up in the textarea for now, but is trimmed when posted to twitter. It is something that will be resolved in an upcoming release of our Sharing API.
