I’m testing the template for a review, but the slider doesn’t get activated when I checked it in the customize settings. I tried a number of variations, there are all featured images on all the posts but it doesn’t show. Is there any extra plugin I’m missing that needs to be uploaded?

  • Hi @patzz72

At first, thank you for your response and for choosing our theme.

Weird, can you please share the screenshots of the customizer options?

    Kind Regards

The website you can find here

Ps. it is all in Dutch.

    Kind regards

    Hi @patzz72

Weird, please try to change the source for the blog posts from the category to the all posts, maybe you have some issue with the categories or there is no blog post to display.

Please let us know the results.

    Kind Regards

    Hi @wprsupport,

Changed that as well. Added new blogs to see it that would change anything. Deleted everything and created all the blogs. Deleted the theme and started over. Nothing does the trick. I’m a bit baffled at the moment.

    Hi @patzz72

Weird, I will redirect this topic to the developer’s board and they will check for the issue.

    Hi @wprsupport,

    Thank you!

    Hi @patzz72

    1. Please make sure that you are running the latest version of the theme, in the last version the featured slider options should look like in the screenshot: https://imgur.com/Xxcsrqb

    2. Please make sure that the posts under the category you choose to be displayed in the slider, all have Featured images attached.

    3. Temporarily change the Worpdress interface language to English, clear cached data and check again.

    Waiting for your response.

    Kind Regards

    Hi @wprsupport,

    1. I have a different theme (Bard instead of Ashe), but it looks very different (see image here). I got Bard 1.6.8 from your site, uninstalled the version on my site and added it again based on the download from your site.

    2. Yep, all there

    3. Did that.

    No change unfortunately

Btw: in the Ashe theme the slider does work.

    Hi @patzz72

Weird, our developers are working on the issue and will contact you as soon as they have any updates.

Our apologies for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

    Kind Regards

Do I need to keep the bard theme live for the developers? Otherwise I’ll try the Ashe theme first, although for the review the Bard theme would be better.

    Hi,

Nick is here from DEV team, yes you can change the theme. About Bard theme after many testings on many servers I have not found any slider related issue, it might be your WP database related issue and can you please try to reset your database and try again if possible?

I really don’t have any other ideas 🙁

    Kind Regards,
    Nick

    @wproyal,

I reset the database, rebuild the site at a different location and the slider is still not showing up. I’m getting a bit frustrated with the theme. I can supply you with credentials to find the problem?
