Extra Characters Parsed into wp_title Tag

  • When the <?php wp_title(); ?> tag is parsed and displayed inside the <title> tag, it also brings along a » in front of it. I don’t want that in the page title and have looked all over the place to see if it was hard-coded in the template, but it’s not.

    Somehow, that is being pulled from a config file somewhere every time that tag is parsed.

    Anyone know where I should begin looking?
