On our main donations page, each donor form is fired from a button using the One Button Launch option in the form block.
But when the modal opens an extra button is displayed at the top of the form beneath the input box for the donation amount, in addition to the Submit button at the bottom of the form. It is not styled by the theme, it has the same label as the Continue button that triggered the form and nothing happens when it is clicked.
I tried replacing the form block with a shortcode using the
display_style="button"option and the same error occurs.
Your guidance on how to correct this issue will be much appreciated as this is confusing for our donors!
Thanks for a superb plugin.
The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]
I am not seeing an extra button when I view the forms on that page. Can you send a screenshot image or video showing what you see? Here’s a (silent… I’ll spare you my toddler-noise from a child home with me thanks to the pandemic) video of what I see:
Are you seeing something different?
Thanks for getting back to me. Weird times indeed! It’s the empty supermarket shelves here in the UK that’s so bizarre when there are no real supply chain issues. Brits are meant to have a reputation for pulling together (Blitz spirit and all that) but the selfish genes seem to have kicked in big time!
This is a bit of a mystery. As this is the live site, as a workaround I had replaced the Donor Form block with Donor Grid blocks which resolved the issue – and that is what you accessed in your video which is why you saw no extra button. Actually I prefer the design and will keep it and tweak it!
But to check, I’ve just tried reverting one of the tabs (Patron) to the single Donor Form block with One Launch Button and guess what? The modal pops up good and clean as expected! (It’s back to Grid Block now).
So I guess we just chalk this one up to the gremlins?
