    Hi,

I’m using WP-Members to restrict access to certain posts. I use the Show excerpts option and Auto Excerpt option with 300 words. This works fine.
Even if a post has or not an already set excerpt, the auto generated one is present.

But, if I activate the Yoast SEO plugin than something weird happens. If the post doesn’t have an excerpt already then the WP-Members auto generated excerpt doesn’t show and instead you get the WordPress default password protected form and I have to input the password.

As far as I can see, the seo plugin treats the WP-Members restricted post as if it were locked by wordpress native options.

WP-Members does currently use a process of spoofing a post password for a couple of its features. In some themes (or evidently, with some plugins), this ends up displaying the post password dialog.

You can override this with the wpmem_post_password filter.
