External Media Storage webdav

    Hi all,
    I have done some research and found some rare plugins, that mostly are not updated since a long time.
    Therefor I put the question to the desk, if there is any maintained plugin, that supports simple webdav connections for external storage.

    Goal;
    I have a WP and a Nextcloud instance online.
    I would like to grab media files from Nextcloud.
    Nextcloud supports images by some manual modified URLs but videos are an issue.
    If I get the NC Instance linked as media storage using WebDav, WP can take control about that and play videos as usual.

    Before answering, please take in account, I am not a developer. Fiddling around with WP source code is not appreciated 😉

    Any solution approach?
