# External link within WordPress frame

 * Hi people,
 * This thing has been driving me nuts.
 * This is the website I want to update :
    [SymbiosisHR.net](http://symbiosishr.net/)
 * I want to make a page “button”, AKA a “tab”, that would link to an external webpage.
   
   More clearly, when a visitor clicks on the “JOB OFFER” button, he gets sent to
   an external site (namely, our TALEO careers site)
 * So I found this :

 * 2 problems with that
 * 1) When I do it, the link does work but the text of the tab is not aligned anymore
   with the other tabs.
    Any ideas why ?
 * 2) I loose the footers and headers.
    What I’d really like would be for the external
   page to open in the “blog frame”, that is between the footer and headers. No 
   need for the sidebar though.
 * Please help !!!! I’ve been looking intensively on the web for a fix but can’t
   find anything relevant and I’ve got pressure to make this thing work ASAP.

 * Also, I can’t make it open as if it was part of the blog (I loose header and 
   footer)

 * If you want to keep your header & footer, you need to insert the external page
   into one of your Pages using an iframe.

 * Hi again !
 * 1) The plug-in won’t work because it’s not compatible with the qTranslate plug-
   in I’m using and which is essential.
 * 2) I found a workaround so I don’t need an iframe.
 * 3) I made the links using this tip

 * 4) All is fine except that now, the tag texts (page texts) of the menu are not
   aligned.
 * Anyone can help fix this please ?
