    While creating new download and adding file i need to add external file 
   link (from different domain) instead of browsing file locally. Where can i add
   external file link. Please guide.

 * You can add the link to the external file in the version “File URL(s)” box. Just
   paste it in there instead of clicking the browse for file button.

    Yes i am trying in the similar way but its not working .. When i add url,
   click update.. The url id gone after update.
