# External Javascript files loading ridiculously slow

 * Hey,
 * I’m moving my current website to run on WordPress (in local dev stage) at the
   moment and surprisingly, the Javascript is loading really slow. I only have three
   javascript files (jquery library, modernizr and my global javascript file).
 * I’ve explored if anything is going wrong or loading slow in safari developer 
   tools and everything is fine.
 * If I load the website, the css loads straight away and then the javascript kicks
   in about a second later. Very strange…
 * There are no plugins installed as well.
 * Has anybody else had any experience of this?
