External blog?

Ok so i’m completely new to wordpress. I’ve got it downloaded, and installed on my websites server but the thing is, I don’t want to use the template.

Is there a code I can place in my normal blog page’s coding to include my wordpress blog posts? Basically I have my website as…a shell. I’m trying to find a code that takes the articles from my normal, classy wordpress blog and puts them in my websites custom “exciting” shell. Any ideas?
