[Resolved] Extension datatables row details drop down styling

  • I am using the ‘Extension datatables row details’ extension and it does just what i need.
    I would like to style the section which drops down showing the rest of a record. I can’t figure out how to do this. Adding css color to columns doesn’t seem to do the trick. Thanks! You are very generous with your time!

    Hi,

    thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

    The open rows has some CSS classes that you can use for styling. For example, the <tr> element gets the row-details-row-open class, that you can use in your CSS. An example:

    .tablepress-id-123 tr.row-details-row-open td {
      color: #ff0000;
    }

    My suggestion here would be to use e.g. the Google Chrome Developer Tools to inspect the elements on the page and the available CSS classes.

    Regards,
    Tobias
