# Extending WP Pages

 * I thought I might be able to use PODs to extend the WP built in content type “
   Pages”. I want to add the built in taxonomy “tags” to “Pages”. I found a plugin
   to do this: [http://wordpress.org/plugins/add-tags-and-category-to-page/](http://wordpress.org/plugins/add-tags-and-category-to-page/)
   However, since I am already using PODs and would rather use pods I thought I 
   would try and do it with PODs, however, it does not seem possible – or am I missing
   something.

   But it seems to be talking about CPTs not already existing ones.
 * If someone can confirm that this is a limitation or point me to a tutorial that
   would be awesome.

 * Pods does not currently allow you to override existing post type or taxonomy 
   options. You can add fields to them though.
