I’m working on extending shipping to allow my client to use an external api. I have unit tested the api transaction and it works great. Unfortunately despite following the documentation and enabling my custom shipping method in the back end has left me with the “…no shipping methods available for your area…” message.
When the answer I got from the members only support was basically RTFM l almost ragequit the project. We pay you and this is your idea of support?
I have also tried overriding the is_available function to always return true which begs the question, what exactly is the process for determining if a custom plugin extension is availble?
Do to lack of support, my client has missed his launch date by more than 3 weeks.
