# Extending notification features

 * Hello,
 * is is possible to customize parent theme’s buddypress folder into child theme
   and edit the templates in child theme to send customized notifications to users
   when these events happen:
 * a. a new account has been created
    b. a post from user moves up to a higher voting
   threshold c. a user gets a new voting score
 * ¿is there any limitation to get the plugin not to work this way?
