# Extending Custom Post Types

 * While looking at Custom Post Types in the Codex, I found an example regarding
   a CPT called book. Let’s say that I wanted to add a text field called ISBN, for
   example, that would be associated with each book. Do any of you have a suggestion
   on how I can get that field to show up on the Add New Book page?
