extend SLUG number of characters

    I am using CPT UI free version. When I enter the slug name it does not allow me to type more than 20 characters. Is there a way to increase this limit and write a longer slug?

    Good day @elisalongato

    The name/slug fields have max character limits from WordPress core, thus we respect and enforce those limits.

    However, the rewrite slug field, does not appear to have such limits, so using that for your longer desired versions is going to likely be your best bet. That field will overtake what you see with the permalinks, while still leaving the name/slug at the limit from WordPress core.
