Extend membership with paypal

    I have an issue which comes up frequently sometimes i want to extend membership for an EXISTING member. IE John has a recurring once a year subscription which he paid via paypal on January 1st 2017 and today its August 10th 2017 and i want to give him the next 9 months free so i go to his “Access starts” and move date ahead 9 months and he has free access after Jan 1st 2018, but on Jan 1st 2018 paypal is supposed to charge him for his yearly renewal. How can i give him free access without suspending account on paypal because i want to keep subscription going for next payment date on January 2019?

    Is there anyway to get around this issue?

    Hi, have you tried to create an upgrade button? Then you can let them know to upgrade their account. That way when they upgrade their account it will be charged again when their membership period is up.

    Let me know if this would work for you.
