Exsisting contact forms vanished upon activation

I’m working on a website with more than one Contact form. For one of them it’s preferable the output is send in a pdf attachment so I decided to give this plugin a try. Did not expect that all already existing forms would disappear upon activation of this plugin. Am searching in the database now in order to recover the forms. Any ideas?
