Express Checkout Button on Variable Product Page not working?

Hello,

it seems, that the paypal express button on the product page is NOT working correctly with variable products 🙁

I have just checked it and get: “Uncaught Error: No value passed to payment”

Is there a way / solution to fix this, so after a customer picks one variable of the product, that the paypal express button will work?
