    Hey all,

Is there any way to export your posts when you only have contributor access?
I’m building a new site for a client. Their old site was built with WP but by a different developer. My client only has contributor access, and they don’t want the developer of the current site to know they hired someone else.

Do you have access to the hosting account?

If you have access to the databse, you can export the wp_posts table which contains ALL of your posts. You can then import only that table to your new database.

Unfortunately No. I do not have access to the hosting account. The best I have is FTP access.

Then I’m afraid it’s not possible.
