# Exporting from WordPress

 * I need to be able to export a blog but I can’t find the export function. According
   to the documentation it should be under the Manage tab but I don’t see it. I 
   do see an import tab, but no export.

 * That’s really strange. It should be there. What version are you running?
 * Either, you should be able to access the page using [http://www.your-domain.com/wp-admin/export.php](http://www.your-domain.com/wp-admin/export.php)
 * Replace ‘your-domain’ with the actual domain name for your site.

 * 2.0.2, says on the right.
 * I don’t think WP had the export feature in version 2.0.2, but I could be wrong.
   If that’s the case, you will have to stick with the old school [MySQL database dump](http://codex.wordpress.org/Backing_Up_Your_Database).

   I’d remember to look at ’em…

 * It looks like the wordpress-to-wordpress-import should do the job. I jsut need
   to get FTP access to the server the blog is on.
 * The MySQL dump won’t do what I want because I actually am going to be importing
   the blog to MT4.

 * Excuse me for bumping this, but I also need help to export from 2.0.2, for use
   in 2.7.
