# Export without Posts

 * Hello… I have the unlimited extension. My issue is that the download file is 
   27GB. OUCH! I’m just trying to develop a theme on my server so would like to 
   avoid downloading all 2,700 posts on the site. Is there a way to NOT download
   posts?

 * You can skip exporting the database via the checkbox under advanced options on
   the export page. Excluding only the posts is not possible.

 * Thanks for your response. But won’t excluding the database make the site unusable?
