# Export without access to admin panel?

 * As I’ve mentioned [earlier](http://wordpress.org/support/topic/120009?replies=3)
   I can’t get access to my admin panel because it’s just blank for some reason.
   
   So I’ve been thinking about starting all over again with a new blog. But since
   I can’t get access to my admin panel I can’t export the old posts and comments
   and so on. Is it possible to export those into a wxr-file and then import them
   to the new blog without accessing the admin panel?
 * Would be very happy to hear an answer, either to export in some other way or 
   to get help accessing my admin panel…

 * Yes, I know that I can export my database via phpMyAdmin, but I want to export
   it as a wxr-file so that I can go into a newstarted one and import the file in
   the admin panel.
 * Or could I just start a new blog, import my old database from the old blog in
   phpMyAdmin and it’ll appear on my new blog?

 * Might consider trying to upgrade to 2.2 if the suggestion samboll made on your
   other thread ( [http://wordpress.org/support/topic/120009?replies=3](http://wordpress.org/support/topic/120009?replies=3))
   doesn’t work for you.
