Support » Plugin: WP RSS Multi Importer » Export RSS: cutting UTF-8 description error, and pubdate on the local language

• Export generates RSS in UTF-8 but it probably cuts brief text in description not as UTF-8.

Example: http://sdgi.ru/?feed=regionalnews
Item with the link “http://sdgi.ru/blog/2012/12/27/803/”
Symbol 291 of description line: ” СЌРєР…

Keep on reading: “
Last “Р” before “…” is the first byte of multibyte symbol. And it has been cut on the first byte.

One more error with exporting RSS:
Pubdates are generated on Russian: “
”.
I think it should be formatted like this: “
” (even if the site is in Russian).

Please help to make correct rss export.
Thank you.

if you go into the rss_feed.php file, you can make the changes if you know a bit of coding…the feed has been set to 500 characters, but this can be easily changed. Let me know if you don’t know how to do this (by the way, I haven’t been working on this feature for a number of months since few people use it).

Such an unexpendable feature is unclaimed… Thank you for it. I’ll look at it and probably propose a fix. I just thought that my own changes will be always attcked by plugin updates. 🙂
