Export/Import settings location

    Hi,

    I m using a script to backup files & db that allow me to change the fqdn as well in case I want to create a copy of the website under a new fqdn like http://www.domain.name to uat.domain.name.

    When I do this, I apparently do not bring “Customize” settings from one environment to another.

    Where can I find the data on my wordpress setup ?
    Is it a file ?
    Is it a db value ?
    Something else ?

    My main purpose is to make the settings portable from one website to another.

    The Customizer settings are stored in the database, in the options table. This plugin exports the settings to a file for you to put wherever you want. It doesn’t store it anywhere.
